Rusty's Law Replaces Godwin's Law
Too great of an idea not to get it's own post. Many of you have heard of Godwin's Law about Nazis being drawn inevitably into any only discussion. Well, here's Rusty's Law ©:
As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving al Qaeda or bin Laden approaches one.Exhibit A: Who's worse, Reagan or bin Laden?
Exhibit B: Who's worse, Rupert Murdoch or al Qaeda?
Bin Laden as the new Hitler and al Qaeda as the new Nazis. Makes perfect sense to me and the perfect tool for all dumb analogies.
