You do the math:
a) Al Qaeda demands U.S. withdraw from Iraq
b) Democrats vote to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq
Lesson al Qaeda learns? a + b = terrorism works
This isn't rocket science. And, to be honest, I don't blame the Democrats. I blame you, the American people, for being weak and spineless in the face of our enemies.
Exactly as Ayman al Zawahiri predicted you would.
It's sad, really, that al Qaeda knows you better than you know yourselves.
Oh, yeah, keep telling yourself that there is no al Qaeda in Iraq. It will make you feel better and its cheaper than prozac. That way, when and if we do leave, the new Islamic State of Iraq won't exist.
