President Bush Dead!?!?!

Is President Bush Dead? And if so, how many innocent women, children, and kittens died with him? The initial reports lead me to believe that this must have something to do with Bushitler's known cocaine addiction, DUI convictions, womanizing, sodomizing, and/or generally fraternizing with moneyed Zionists from New York City. Or something like that.

Or did Reuters murder Bush? Hmmmmmmmmm....

Typo? Allahpundit notes that it happened twice, on the same day. Once at Reuters and once at CNN. I misspell stuff all the time, but usually for one of two reasons.

1) I can't spell. But even our most ignorant Jawa Report flunkies (who are at least ten times less educated than the average Reuters-know-it-all-intern) knows the difference between bus and bush.

Potato and potatoe? Not so much.

2) Letters on a standard keyboard are close together so, therefore, prone to error. But, last time I checked, the "s" at the end of "bus" is struck by the left ring finger. The "h" in Bush is struck by the right index finger.

Another common typo is stringing words together. A "space" typo, if you will. But the 'h' in "Bush" is just as far from the "c" in crash (left center finger) as the "s".

Typo? No way.

Prank? So, a CNN intern bets a Reuters intern that he can get away with killing the President in the headlines? Seems far fetched, but think about this: I have a couple of close friends who are soon going to owe me lunch for placing a book espousing a crazy idea about the desirability of a one-world government in the bibliography of a forthcoming work of mine. And let me tell you, that will be the greatest lunch of my life.
