Merry Christmas, AP! Still No Jamil Hussein Under the Tree

So what's it gonna be then, eh?

Confederate Yankee wonders what the return policy on Hussein-credited AP stories is, and highlights the progression thus far of this disgraceful attempt at "war coverage."

Meanwhile, Eric Scheie of Classical Values takes down the frantic Eric Boehlert of (Only The Leftwing) Media Matters and his Dowdified attacks on "warbloggers" who dare to question (and expose) the media gods' apparent decreeing of truthiness from Mt. Olympus.

Michelle Malkin goes to the belly of the beast, finds nothing and ignores the left's attempts to shift the focus of this journalistic debacle onto the "larger anti-war truth/context" of fictional news stories.

Credibility is the issue here, and Jamil Hussein (if he even exists) is just the latest example of how a principal cog of the mainstream press forgot what the word means.

Just in case you need a primer on the industry's self-imposed standards, check out the ethical code of the Society of Professional Journalists. No - its not satire.
