Clinton Censorship and his failures that led to 9/11.


My thought is that Clinton’s credibility was too damaged at the time. The wag the dog accusations were a result of this. Also this had a big effect on Somalia. No one was willing to follow Clinton into a war. And Clinton being who he is didn’t have the gumption to do the right thing.

Our failures emboldened al-Qaida. I also must note that we as conservatives also failed to see the danger. Blinded by politics we also failed to properly judge the threat and lend support to our fighting men and women and the badly wounded president.

Of course President Clinton’s personal failures cannot be excused but our failure to look beyond that cannot be excused either. Had Clinton been able to control his trouser mouse or the right been able to control the hunger for political advantage there may be 2996 more Americans alive today.

There is plenty of blame to go around. The real question is do we have the stones to keep up the fight. Our metal is being tested. Bin-laden has stated the war will continue until we convert to Islam, accept Dhimification, surrender or give up. He expects we will. Make him wrong, very wrong.
