Exclusive Video: The Death of Steve Irwin.
It has come to my attention that Crocodile Hunter’s death was recorded on Video. I’ve obtained a copy of er, uhh, a video.
So it didn’t exactly happen that way, but close.
Some people live a very long very safe life. Adds up to X amount of living. Some people live a bit differently. I think Steve got all he could out of life. He lived and died on his own terms. X squared if you will.
He represents something we Americans miss and admire about the Aussies. They still have it, whilst here that kind of true grit is fading rapidly. The best way I know to honor him is to carry on his tradition of humor in the face of danger and sorrow.

Update from Eonline:
He was developing a TV series for his daughter, Bindi, and working on a $40 million expansion to Australia Zoo. He had just completed five weeks of crocodile research in Queensland's Lakefield National Park and signed with Disney and IMAX to make a 3D movie."Steve said to me on the boat, on Croc One...as we were leaving to go out for this doco, 'John, I've had the best month of my life'. I said, 'Gee, that's a big statement, Steve' and he said, 'No, it's the best month of my life,'" Stainton recalled.
"And that's great."
