Do Not Adjust Your Monitor
UPDATE II: Is it just me, or is the entire internet broken? We're good, but tons of sites are down. Virus? DDoS? These sites include .gov sites, as well.
Update to Update II: Those sites back up (such as .gov), mu.nu back down. The headaches, they never stop........
If you noticed The Jawa Report acting funky when it loads, it's not you, it's me. It should just be the right-hand column that is having a problem. But who looks at the right column, anyway?
UPDATE: Fixed. Technical note below:
The reason for the slow load is that mu.nu seems to be down. The Jawa Report is actually on a seperate server (along with Ace-o-Spades HQ) from the rest of mu.nu.
This was supposed to protect the rest of mu.nu from us, since we are constantly under DDoS attack from Islamists out of Turkey. Looks like it works both ways.
Since part of our right-hand-column is the mu.nu blogroll hosted on the main mu.nu server, when your computer tries to load that column it is unable to reach mu.nu and therefore won't load until you wait about a minute.
But unless you have to see my blogroll, sitemeter, TTLB status, or skins, it's no big deal.
Unless, of course, you're looking at my sitemeter....like me...then it only seems like a big deal. Because it looks like traffic has dropped by 3/4. It hasn't. It's just an artifact of the sitemeter loading last. If it doesn't load, it doesn't measure hits. Thus, the majority of hits just aren't being measured right now.
Don't panic.
Unless you're Vinnie, who remains on the main mu.nu server.
In that case, PANIC!
