Taliban Patches for Hindus Were for Saftey
Were, “for their own good,”, Said Yale Taliban, Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi.
Via Clint W. Taylor at Townhall :Harrassed by the religious Police? Do they have those in Iran too? I'd rather be harrassed by the Iranian's. They might hang me from a crain, but they would probably just jail me, beat me, fine me, and release me. The Taliban would probably just start sawing right away.
he told UPI's Arnaud De Borchgrave how wonderful it was that the Taliban assigned yellow identity badges to their religious minorities (in this case Hindus). It was, said Hashemi, for their own good:Yale Taliban, Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi --On distinctive patches to be worn by non-Muslims: "Everything we decide is immediately castigated as worthy of history's bloodthirsty dictators. This decision was designed to protect Hindus who kept complaining to us that they were being harassed by the religious police for not going to the mosque at prayer time."
